Foremost Electronics Ltd announces an extension to their Icotek range of cable entry systems for use in cleanrooms.The tried and tested cable entry frames KEL-ER and KEL-U with their range of KT grommets, designed for cables with connectors, are available for cleanroom applications. For cables without plugs, the KEL-DPZ cable entry plates are also available in cleanroom version, both signified with the addition ‘CR’ in the description.
All icotek cable entry systems for cleanrooms have been tested and certified by Fraunhofer IPA and are, therefore, suitable and certified to the highest class 1, in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-1: 2015.
The use of special and suitable materials in the manufacture of icotek cable entry systems ensures extremely low outgassing behaviour in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-8: 2013-06.
These attributes provide the user with the assurance that the Icotek ‘CR’ designated parts protect the clean room environment from particle emission to the highest DIN standard and the materials used are compliant to the recognised industry standards.Icotek part number ending .600 / .601 applies.
Icotek cable entry systems are - dependent on the version - certified up to IP68, FDA-compliant, UL Type 12 / 4X certified and provide a wide range of Cable Management Solutions.
